I am Johan Verrue, entrepreneur and Professor Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghent. I firmly believe in the superior effectiveness of experiential learning over the traditional classroom teaching methods.
That is why I teach all my courses without examinations. Instead, I allow my students to dive into the real world and tackle real business challenges and support them with intensive personalized coaching.
My mission as a professor is to give students the opportunity to gain far-reaching learning experiences by offering them challenging, real business assignments, coached by professionals and to narrow the gap between the academic and business worlds by building bridges that are crossed in both directions.
